Seminary Come and See Weekends (Vocation Live-ins)

Details and Registration

Evening prayerVisiting Christ the King Seminary for a weekend is one of the best ways to discern if you are being called to the priesthood.  It’s a chance to experience the life of a seminarian. You’ll share meals, attend classes, and talk with others about your interest in priesthood.

The weekend includes confession, Mass, talks about discerning your vocation, and plenty of time for personal prayer. We also play basketball and street hockey, so bring athletic clothes and your hockey stick.

Please arrive by 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Departure is 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. There is a suggested donation of $40 for the weekend, but please don’t let finances prevent you from attending the weekend. We would love to host you for this enjoyable and spiritually nourishing weekend!

“I have called you friends” (Jn 15:15). We invite you to our first-ever online Vocation Live-In! This event is an opportunity for young men to meet other guys (age 17-35) searching for God’s will. There will be an ice-breaker, a talk on vocation discernment, seminarian’s vocation story, a tour of the seminary and campus, Q&A with seminarians, and a community Evening Prayer. We look forward to meeting you! Saturday, March 6, 2:00-4:30pm.
P.S. We have fun as you see, but we also pray. We didn’t show any footage of that because Jesus says, “Pray in secret”. 😀
