Age: 20

Parish St. Jude’s Parish, Vancouver

Year: Arts III

Why am I studying to become a priest? I was not satisfied with the way I was living, and, God in His mercy said to me in prayer one day, “Lorenzo, follow me”. He opened my eyes in seeing that it is only when we make a gift of ourselves that we can find ourselves; thus God made me want what I did not want, so now I want it: to give myself fully to God and His Holy Church.

Favourite food: Italian “nonna” soup: basically homemade chicken soup with little pastas.

Favourite sport: Soccer

Favourite movie: High School Musical 1

Favourite book: “Introduction to the Devout Life” by St. Francis De Sales

Favourite hobby/extracurricular activity before you became a seminarian: A variety of sports, coin collecting

If you could be one superhero, who would you be, and why? Daredevil: his skill-set, despite his loss of sight, is admirable, not to mention the fact that he brings up a good point in the spiritual life: by accepting his limitations, he turns them into his strength.

Favourite quote: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” – Galatians 2:20
